Case Study Selection Huntington Hospital
The case study that I decided to review is Case 13: Huntington Hospital, the tools I would of used to employ and analyze the healthcare environment would of been the nominal group techniques (NGT) and solicitations of the expert opinion. NGT helps by allowing the open dialogue between the new manager and the department employees. The technique helps by giving insights to highly trained managers on where any of the problems could be given a better ability to help deciding with the employees of the organization. This can helps to build the trust and also give the employees a voice to speak up. This makes it important due to the employees having the feeling of being voiceless when it came to the managers and the ability of using the methods that will eventually help by boosting the morale within medical departments. Second tool is helping to bring experts in the AR into one of the offices so there can be a perform and analysis, and also work with the medical employees to help with the change of workflows and also helps with solidifying the changes so each of the department can help by keep moving towards the medical departments goal of reducing AR from being in the 60’s days to the 50's days mark.
