2 Study Buddies, Disseminations, and Forum Posts Request post for study buddies Hello everyone, my name is I live in Calgary, Alberta, and work as an LPN in the acute care setting full time. I already have a study buddy who is also in this program but currently with another tutor. We both started this program and have helped to motivate each other, share knowledge, and discuss assignments, helping meet each other's learning goals and outcomes. Our hope is that engaging with one another would enhance our learning experience and awareness. My goal is to complete this course for my upcoming clinical. Hopefully, this course will go by quickly as we are driven to get through it with each other’s help. If you care to join us and make us a third wheel, we are available on Saturdays and Sundays from 1200-0600 Mountain Standard Time. You can reach me via Email:  My preferred language is English, and can also communicate through WhatsApp and zoom. I look forward to working with you all. Experience in finding and working with a study buddy. The study buddy method enhances learning through social interaction, encourages study, and fosters a more in-depth approach to critical inquiry and conceptual reasoning (Madland & Richards, 2016). The likelihood of excelling in an online course is increased by finding and working with a study partner. Finding and working with my study partner was a terrific experience since I discovered a more approachable, helpful, and enjoyable way to study. We were effective because we pooled our resources and knowledge. I also encountered ideas like teaching others concepts we don't comprehend or new research techniques that help us learn new things. According to Madland and Richards (2016), study buddy participants felt that the activity forced them to do more than look for static resources and examine alternate opinions (p. 169).
3 Advantages and challenges of working with a study buddy. Working together with my study buddy is an advantage that provided us with the method to avoid procrastination. Having one another kept us in check, and that helps a lot. We built a sense of commitment among us so that we could prepare differently on our own. Sharing the ability to explain topics with each other deepens our knowledge. It was helpful in our dissemination presentation and helped bring more information to your memory and connect to the bigger picture. Sharing your strengths and complementing each other's weaknesses will improve both of you overall outcome (Madland & Richards, 2016). Also, learning quickly and getting a new perspective is an advantage working with a study buddy. It improves your learning plan by combing the best method. Moreover, it provides social connection and motivation to complete work on time. Madland and Richards (2016) stated that the peer motivation was not only focused on getting the work done on time, however; participant reported: "[my study buddy] also helped me stay in the course because I had committed to being a peer reviewer" (p. 169). When working with my study buddy, challenges encountered as extra workload associated with this course were taxing at a point. Sometimes little distraction can lead to a bit of research or non for the day. We usually feel discouraged when one is above each other level due to efforts made to achieve a goal. We had different commitments and responsibilities, and we typically find a way to work through them and encourage one another. Madland and Richards (2016) mentioned that Study buddy participants who had a negative view of the activity were clear that the greatest frustrations occurred when there were inequities in either partner's motivation or the quality and depth of the feedback received (p. 170). Also, we usually disagree to agree in accepting each other's ideas. This could lead to conflicts as we all have different ideas
4 that may conflict with one another's suggestion. It is always our goal to get the work done. Therefore, we put our differences aside and allow all ideas and suggestions put together to complete the job successfully. Changes to make when working with study buddy in future             Study buddy relationships should be beneficial to one another in fulfilling responsibilities and complementing each other skills. However, there are changes needed to make or adjust when working with study buddies in future. When making a study schedule in future, we need to share strategies on schedule plans and bounce off each others’ ideas instead of making schedules base on our needs. Although we do figure out our respective schedules, there will be a tendency we might experience change as we progress.            Also, we should make changes toward the study peer pressure we usually give ourselves. We need to be firm and straightforward with ourselves. Learning to block out extra input will be great and stop being guilty when we are done or tired for the day. Keeping each other motivated and sharing strategies are great principles with making a change. In future, establishing expectations upfront for studies and remaining firm and honest will be changes needed to make soon. Experience on how I choose to share my work, strengths, and challenges of the selected method and what I learnt when dissemination project was shared, three challenges faced, and areas believed that went well when work was shared. My experience on choosing a method to share my work with my study buddy was somewhat ok as I am not technology savvy. I decided to share my presentation using a tool like zoom, as it is now the norm.
5 The zoom method has lots of benefits, and my strength is that it is for free. It allows you to hold unlimited 40-minutes long meetings for no charge and is quite easy to use. Everything about the method is very intuitive to use for both the person hosting and for anyone attending. The zoom method might be beneficial with great features, but it still has its challenges. I encounter challenges like zoom bombing; it results in unwanted individuals' loud or inappropriate behaviour to disrupt it for fun. Zoom does not work without downloading an app for your browser; my study buddy forgot to download the app, resulting in delaying my presentation. It also takes up ample space when recording as it is a problem when you have limited space. I learned how to design a presentation to look it best on other computer screens and make it look simple and straightforward with my husband's help. All technical equipment needs to be working correctly, as it minimizes issues like award camera angles or microphone malfunctioning. I faced some challenges when sharing my work as zoom presentation is vastly different from presenting in person. According to Sheikh, a Lack of physical presence and body language can make it challenging to engage and inspire your audience. I experienced the temptation to multitask and was eager to answer an email sent when sharing my work. My anxiety level skyrocketed at a point, but I managed to remain calm and focused. Three areas I believed that went well was my presentation delivery was engaging and inspiring, as mentioned by study buddy. Also, no technical problems occurred as I prepared ahead of time to put everything in place. Time was essential to me, and I got to finish at the exact time proposed to my buddy.
