Adolescence: The adolescent phase is characterized by rapid growth and development, demanding increased nutrient intake. According to contemporary hints, youth require better quantities of calcium, diet D, protein, and iron. Calcium and nutrition D are critical for bone health for the duration of the increased spurt, while iron helps the expansion of blood quantity (Temple, 2017). Incorporating foods rich in these nutrients is vital. Dairy products, leafy greens, lean proteins, and fortified cereals contribute significantly. Encouraging a balanced diet during adolescence lays the foundation for lifelong health. Older Adulthood: As individuals age into the older adulthood stage, maintaining health and preventing chronic diseases become paramount (Denny, 2008). Nutrient needs may shift, with a heightened focus on calcium, vitamin B12, vitamin D, and fiber. Calcium and vitamin D continue to support bone health, while B12 becomes crucial for nerve function. A diet emphasizing dairy or fortified plant-based
alternatives, fatty fish, lean meats, and fiber-rich fruits and vegetables can address these needs. Additionally, staying hydrated becomes increasingly important. Understanding and implementing these nutrient recommendations tailored to each life stage contributes not only to immediate well-being but also to the long-term health outcomes of individuals.
