In this article, McGee compares and contrasts two beliefs in the creation story of Genesis
that are both popular in the evangelical church. The two major beliefs are Progressive
Day-Age Creationism and Six Day Creation Theory. In addition to a contrast and
comparison of the two theories, McGee discusses the implications each theory has on the
evangelical church of today.

This article by Boyd looks at the flood account of Noah from a slightly different view
than mainstream churches, proponents for the flood, and antagonists of the flood. He
dives into the commands God gives both Noah and his family, as well as the animals, in
the week leading up to the flood. Additionally, Boyd looks heavily into the specific
Hebrew word used for “flood” in Genesis: Mabbul.

(Chapter 6) In this specific chapter of his work, Wise digs into the making of the Heavens
according to the creation account in Genesis. More specifically, Wise gives compelling
evidence via the law of Relativity as well as the Second Law of Thermodynamics,
adventuring into the topic of usable energy in our world today and where that usable
energy came from and is going.

(Chapter 2) This works by multiple authors, with differing views on creation, looks at the
different theories held for the creation of the universe and Earth as we know it. Chapter
two, specifically, is on Progressive Day-Age Creation and is written by Hugh Ross, along
with a response by Ken Ham. Ross lays out seven different interpretations on Old Earth
creationism as well as homing in on the Hebrew word “yom” interpreted for “day” and
gives four distinct definitions in Biblical Hebrew.
