Hist. 1015 Exam 2-Essays Fall 2023 Carefully read all the following directions: Below you will find 3 essays. You must choose 1 of the 3 essays to answer for the exam. (40 points = approx. 35 percent of the overall exam grade) Each essay must be written in paragraph format using complete sentences and correct spelling and acceptable grammar for college-level students. Read them carefully and thoroughly answer all parts of each question being asked. Do not plagiarize !! o Appropriately use both quotation marks and in-line citations for all direct quotes. o Use specific examples and details from your assigned readings in both your books (“Give Me Liberty” and “Voices of Freedom”). o The assigned readings along with the assigned videos in your weekly folders on Blackboard should be used as sources of evidence and examples to support your response. These are the only acceptable resources for the exam! While a few short, direct quotes are fine (properly cited!), the majority of what you write should be in your own words. Your completed essay should be about 500 words in length.
