It can be a biography or an article in a book from a person involved in the event possibly years later. Explain why it is important to consult a variety of sources when conducting historical research. Include specific details and examples. You need to check multiple sources when you are looking at historical research since there are various prejudices that are demonstrated in every individual’s historical formation. If somebody claims a primary source, for example, that they were there at the time of this event, their judgment might be hazy due to the feelings that they experienced throughout the event. Looking at the secondary sources can help when looking at an event because the individuals writing that have done their research already from primary sources to make the secondary sources.
