You don't need the actual sources yet, but you should have an idea of what they might be (such as an eyewitness account of an event, for example). The types of primary sources that I will need to support my topic of the Cherokee Trail of Tears are maps of the trails taken from the 1830s, pictures or artwork taken and created during the 1830s that relate to the Cherokee Trail of Tears, and written experiences or journals from people who experienced this historical event. The types of secondary sources that I will need to support my topic of the Cherokee Trail of Tears are journal articles or textbooks about the historical event and biographies from people from the historical event. Module 2 Short Responses – Question 2 What are two or three keywords you could use to look for sources to answer this question? Keywords that I could use to look for sources to answer the above question are sandhogs and Brooklyn Bridge developments.
