Dear Victor:
I received your complaint letter from October 2, 2023, regarding your unfortunate experience in our shared living space with Chowder. Although I Cheerish and love Chowder more than the unthinkable, I do praise and truly value our friendship more. I do realize how frustrating or annoying it can be when Chowder misbehaves or quirks, especially towards one of our valuables like our couch. In your letter, you stated that on the evening of September 14
th
, you had just gotten home after a long day doing labs and assignments for your ECE class. Tired and beat I presume, you then wanted to enjoy a few moments relaxing on the couch. You were then interrupted by a damp spot on the couch, which was left by Chowder. I know this is not the first incident of Chowder obstructing our living space and understand your concern.
As you know, I have been raising and caring for Chowder for quite a while now and have grown such
an attachment to him. Chowder helps me with keeping up with life skills like responsibility, care taking, time management, and ownership. I do apologize for not being there more often to clean or even prevent these incidents from happening. With loving Chowder as much as I do and caring so much for our relationship and living space, it is clear that some kind of action needs to be taken.
Once again, I understand and feel your concerns with Chowder in our home. With both of us beginning to come across more issues with chowder, and me wanting to continue living in a safe, clean space, I will act by first purchasing a couch protective film while simultaneously training Chowder for better in-house behavior. I really want all three of us to live with perfect harmony and peace so I will make sure I can do anything possible for this to happen. Please talk to me or contact me by my email if there are any more concerns.
Sincerely Yours,
Ross Zhang

Dear Mr. Smith:
We received your complaint letter from October 1, 2023
, regarding your concerns and worries about our university’s parking availability. Having to deal with a campus like the University of Illinois with
its constantly growing student body and environment, it is no easy task planning out the university’s map. When it comes to transportation at the university, we make sure that everyone has a fair chance of transportation to the campus. Whether it is bussing, walking, biking, or driving, there needs to be adequate space and availability for all. In your letter, you stated that for the past two years you have been a student at the University of Illinois. You also stated that this semester you have classes that are very close in distance from each other. With that, you opted to start driving to class since you said they are about a mile away and that it is quicker in general. On one particular day you said that there was no more meter parking when you were cutting close on time for a class. Meter parking at our university does tend to get competitive during midday during school weeks. As you know, meter parking at our university is rather cheap so it can be available for all students. With that, meter parking then becomes more competitive because of the ease of purchase for not only
students but even some staff and faculty. As previously stated, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-
Champaign, we all want to give a fair and even opportunity to for all students to get to campus. With the highly dense campus the university has, adding parking would take away space and routes for the
other forms of transportation. Adding more parking would also disrupt the natural environment we have on the campus. Once again, we understand and are sorry for the issue you have recently encountered. We hope that in your future endeavors with driving to class that you will have more luck with finding parking. We understand that you praise the low cost of parking, we assure you that you are not the only one that has had this issue. With the hundreds of parking spots available already to students, it appears that this issue has occurred from the lack of luck at that moment. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns at (
