Dear HR: The VP has asked us to address the return on investment for your most recent training series. How do you think we should respond?
Hello, and thank you for your recent inquiry regarding our return on investment (ROI) for
our most recent training series. To properly assess the ROI, we will be reviewing company metrics such as key performance indicators (KPIs), financial analysis and feedback from our participants. This will provide us with a wide array of understanding about our new training series that will shed valuable information on performance standards, team dynamics and our overall organizational culture. We are committed to delivering our thorough analysis as soon as our data is compiled, and we will ensure to report back our findings as soon as they are available.
We appreciate your continued partnership. Dear HR: My VP is asking me to justify the amount of time my team is spending in training activities. Can you help?
Hello, and thank you for reaching out regarding your team and their training activities. Training is imperative to our employees’ success and directly connects to the overall success of the company. Investing more in our employees is something that we strive for. We want to see everyone succeed in their roles. Not only do we want to provide training for development, but we
also do it for retention. We want to ensure our employees are happy with their roles and feel valued. We encourage training to everyone and want them to be able to complete it while on the job. I have found that other managers allot certain times for employees to participate in training and rotate so not everyone is away from their work. I would be more than happy to partner with you to create a similar schedule for your employees as developing the team is very important. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
