Unit Title: Mastering 2-Digit Math: Place Value, Addition, and Subtraction National or State Academic Content Standards: 2.NBT Numbers and Operations in Base Ten Learning Goal: By the end of the unit students will have developed a strong understanding of place value, addition, and subtraction within the range of two-digit numbers (0-100). Students will be able to confidently apply their knowledge of place value concepts to correctly add and subtract two-digit numbers, both with and without regrouping. Measurable Objectives: At the end of the unit, at least 80% of students will be able to accurately solve addition and subtraction problems involving two-digit numbers within the range of 0-100. This will be demonstrated through their successful completion of assessments, class activities, and independent practice exercises. Students will also exhibit the ability to explain their problem-solving strategies and articulate their understanding of place value concepts during class discussions and activities.
