What we learned in chapters 8,9, & 10 2
What we learned in Chapter 11: Customizing the File Explorer Window
During Week 5 we were asked to read chapters 11,12, &13. Chapter 11 taught us about
the software you'll probably use the most frequently, whatever you might need to perform, is the
File Explorer. The File Explorer's primary function is to assist you in managing and organizing
the files on your computer. These files might be word processor papers, databases, or real
applications like games or spreadsheets created using Microsoft Excel.
You can locate, open, rename, copy, move, and delete files and folders with the File
Explorer. Along with the file name and size, you may also edit or examine information about
each individual file. You may simplify file manipulation on your PC by personalizing the File
Explorer. The following are some possible methods to modify the File Explorer:
or hiding displaying panels in File Explorer
Changing the File Explorer window's toolbar at the top
Modifying the information that is presented for each file and folder
What we learned in Chapter 12: Organizing Windows
After reading chapter 12 I learned about Even if you have many displays, there never
seems to be enough area to display everything, no matter how big your screen is. Although you
can temporarily hide or reduce windows, using numerous Desktops can be a more elegant
approach. Your computer's desktop will show the wallpaper background picture when you first
turn it on. You may open any application windows on this Desktop. If you keep opening too
many windows, eventually your desktop will become cluttered.
You have a few choices to handle this issue:
Reduce one or more windows to their smallest size and conceal them.
View all open windows in Task View.
What we learned in chapters 8,9, & 10 3
Make many virtual desktops.
What we learned in Chapter 13: Playing with Photos
After reading chapter 13 I learned how to Use the Photos Program. Taking photos may be
enjoyable. With digital cameras built into every smartphone and tablet, snapping image
everywhere you go is simple and hassle-free. Finding a location to keep photos is one of the
major issues because so many people take photos. You need to know how to transfer images
from a smartphone, tablet, or camera to a computer for storage because if you snap too many
photos, you'll soon run out of space. A software named Photos, which can save, arrange, and edit
photographs, is part of Windows 10. The best part is that Images can import photos from a tablet
or smartphone, making the process of importing photos quick, straightforward, and seamless.
Pictures kept in a folder like the Pictures folder can be shown automatically by the Photos
software. Photos enables you to examine images in chronological order once you've saved them
in the Pictures folder (or any other folder you specify for Photos to automatically utilize).
There are two methods for moving photos from an external device, like a tablet or
smartphone, to a computer:
Utilize the program Photos
The File Explorer may be used to copy certain images into a folder.
10 computer skills I’ve learned include:
1.
Organizing Windows with Task View
2.
Snapping Windows
3.
Using Virtual Desktops
4.
Using the Navigation Pane
