As I mentioned in my first reflective journal, my primary goal for this internship is to build a
professional network and learn more about data analytics.
I gained a lot of technical knowledge
and learned how to work with different technologies. We use Python, JavaScript, PHP, and
MySQL is among other languages in our projects. I also learned how to write code, debug
problems, and make design decisions using our project management system. I also learned to
communicate with team members and clients via email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, all very
important in this profession where you must deal with customers all the time.
My job responsibilities are to do some research on what properties they needed to buy, this
includes analyzing the market, spending time with their data analysts to make sure they
have everything they need, making recommendations for what else could solve some of our
problems and answer any questions that may arise regarding that.
My time management problem solving skills have improved because I must juggle multiple
projects at once and make sure each one runs smoothly.
I have learned that I am interested in working with others to develop new business strategies for
the company. Dealing with data can sometimes be overwhelming, but working as team to
collecting data and sharing our different insights is very exciting.
In addition to this, I gained a working knowledge of spreadsheet-based data manipulation,
formulas, and basic modeling techniques.
One of my contributions to the organization is bringing excellent customer service. I make sure
The customers service standards are high and excellent to improve our online reviews
and increase customers loyalty.
Secondly, I brought Innovation and originality. Because the company is growing so fast, they
needed more space for their data. I recommended Amazon’s AWS because it is easy to use as the
platform is specially designed for quick and secure access. Users can modify their data whenever
they want, wherever they want.
Flexibility is also one of the reasons why I recommended AWS. It always lets you use those
operating systems, programming languages, and web application platforms that you are
comfortable with. With a service like AWS EC2, the company can build its own virtual
computing environment by setting up their preferred operating systems and applications.
Finally,
Security is one of the best benefits of AWS cloud computing. As we know, security is the
uppermost priority for any company that is data-driven. AWS provides a highly secure
infrastructure to ensure the privacy of your data. Security professionals at AWS follow different
layers of data surveillance such as data protection
, Identity, and access management,
Infrastructure protection and threat detection and continuous monitoring.
Given all the reasons listed above, I was glad to be a part of the brainstorming team and give my
Perspective on the company’s future cloud migration.
