Each point in this LAB has [1 Mark] Exercise #1 1- Open your cmd prompt for Windows OS/terminal for MacOS or Linux OS, and login to munro.humber.ca server by using the following command: [1 Mark] ssh nxxxxxxx@munro.humber.ca use your n-humber number instead of nxxxxxxx. Note: if your command prompt does not support the ssh command then you need to follow this web site https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-win10 to enable it. Or you can download putty and used it. 2- After your successful login to munro.humber.ca server, find the following: [4 Mark] a. Current logged in user b. Current working directory c. Find the Kernel name, Kernel version d. Final all the options with uname command e. Type exit to logout of munro.humber.ca Exercise #2 3- Download the RedHat iso. 4- Download and install any virtual machine software (i.e., VMware Workstation Player or virtual Box), if you already have one then you can escape this point. 5- Create a virtual machine that has following specifications: [1 Mark] CPU #2, Memory #2048MB, Storage HDD #20GB, Network Bridge with Current hardware. 6- Install ubuntu from iso file that you that you download before it. [1 Mark] 7- Put ( vm_n####### ) as a username for the virtual machine, where n######## is student. [1 Mark] 8- Open the terminal and check the internet connectivity for this VM by open browser or write ping 8.8.8.8. [1 Mark] Exercise #3 9- Update the packages repository in VM (SS). Note: by using sudo dnf update [1 Mark] NOTE: You need to register to RedHat Repository by using the following command: subscription-manager register subscription-manager refresh subscription-manager attach –auto Lab #1.
