Define each of the following terms:
Firewall
- Combination of hardware and software that prevents unauthorized access to a network.
Malware – Viruses, worms, trojan horses, and spyware
Keylogger - a computer program that records every keystroke made by a computer user, in order
to gain access to passwords and other confidential information.
Pharming
- Redirects users to a bogus Web page, even when individual types correct Web page address into his or her browser.
Social Engineering
- Tricking employees into revealing their passwords by pretending to be legitimate members of the company in need of information.
Disaster Recovery Planning
- Devises plans for restoration of disrupted services.
