CHCSAC006 Assessment 1 Question 5 Discuss two (2) factors within the service that may impact the child’s support needs Children have unique needs and the support they need should reflect their individualism, factors in the service that may impact the support include if the child struggles to connect with friends support with emotional regulation and conflict may be required as an example or if they grapple with processing emotions, educators may need to assist. In 150 words explain what law the NQF operates under and what types of standards the National law sets, include the law/legislation which applies in your state.\ The Education and Care Services National Law outlines standards for children's education and Regulations form the legal framework that supports the National Quality Framework (NQF). The Law includes principles and requirements for education and care services, whereas the Regulations set out operational guidelines, such as; what qualifications educators are required to attain and what type of environment must be provided for children, like furniture and safe toys and equipment to use and that children are provided with nutritious food.   These parties work jointly to promote consistent quality standards as high-quality education and care in these early
years are paramount to a child's well-being ensuring that a child can reach their full potential.   The minimum standards set by the NQF are required to be in place and are enforceable, these are checked via the quality assessment/rating process.       The seven quality areas are rated against a grading system to ensure that all providers are aware of their quality status and what they might need to do to rectify area where standards are minimal.
