I propose that organizations implement hybrid and remote work models to adapt to evolving workplace dynamics and enhance flexibility for employees. This proposal will focus on outlining the benefits, challenges, and implementation strategies associated with hybrid and remote work,
but will not delve into specific technical requirements or individual company policies.
2. AUDIENCE
Who is my primary reader? Will there be secondary readers?
My primary readers are professionals in human resources, management, and organizational leadership roles, as well as employees interested in alternative work arrangements. Secondary readers may include industry analysts, policymakers, and researchers studying the future of work. 3. PURPOSE
What is my proposal supposed to achieve?
The purpose of my proposal is to advocate for the adoption of hybrid and remote work models as viable solutions to modern workplace challenges, such as improving work-life balance, increasing productivity, and fostering employee satisfaction and retention. Additionally, the proposal aims to provide practical insights and guidance for organizations considering or transitioning to hybrid and remote work environments.

What is my relationship to my audience and to the environment in which my proposal will be read, and how does that context shape the reading?
As the proposer, my relationship to the audience is one of expertise and advocacy, positioning myself as a knowledgeable resource on the topic of hybrid and remote work. The context in which my proposal will be read includes a rapidly changing work landscape influenced by technological advancements, shifting societal norms, and the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. 5. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
What are some other goals, besides the main goal, that my proposal should achieve?
Promoting inclusivity and diversity: Highlight how hybrid and remote work options can facilitate access to employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and those living in remote or underserved areas.
