Do you research on the internet to find 2 or 3 leadership development training companies or programs. What areas of leadership do they address? What do they have in common? What strengths and weaknesses do you find in their claims? The two programs I have chosen for this research are Dale Carnegie Training and Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Dale Carnegie leadership training teaches professionals to sharpen skills and improve performance. According to the Dale Carnegie Training website the areas of leadership this program addresses are to Gain employee commitment and loyalty. Improve communication and team collaboration. Create a corporate culture that retains talent and achieves organizational goals and objectives. Like any other program or company, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training has its strengths and weaknesses. The strengths for this program are to strengthen people skills, build greater self-confidence, enhance communication skills, develop leadership skills and reduce stress and improve attitudes. The weaknesses that Dale Carnegie leadership training may have been limited focus, lack of dept and cost effectiveness. With the cost it may potentially limit access to its benefits. Center for Creative Leadership. This program's mission is to advance the understanding, practice and development of leadership for the benefit of society worldwide. This program offers many leaderships content categories. They are recognized as a top-ranked, global, nonprofit provider of leadership development. The strengths of his program are they have a global reach; they offer leadership development programs in various regions around the world. They have actionable strategies and many other things. The weakness of this program is the price of the program, time commitment, and effectiveness may vary based on facilitator and participant needs. These two programs share commitment to enhancing leadership capabilities through research- based, experiential learning approaches and their effectiveness as leadership development providers. They are both available to the public around the world.
