Financial and Ethical Impact Samantha Grant MHA 506 Ricci Rizzo November 26, 2023
Financial and Ethical Impact Analysis “Financial and ethical impact analysis play a role, in shaping how an organization is structured. Makes decisions. The structure of an organization determines how project management is handled, who has the authority to make project related decisions and how goals and tasks are effectively communicated. Moreover, it influences how project managers collaborate with their teams” (Richards, 2021). The primary focus, at East Chestnut Regional Health System (ECRHS) is to enhance the quality of life through service. Their ultimate goal is to become a leading provider of health and human services. ECRHS has set objectives, such as improving women’s services attracting new physicians and establishing an Oncology Centre. With a vision strong leadership and dedicated employees ECRHS can effectively fulfil its mission achieve its vision and accomplish its long-term goals. Effective leadership plays a role in ECRHSs success. The President and CEO who previously held the position at Archway Hospital introduced a system that grants autonomy to different entities within the organization. Additionally, the leadership team includes a Chief Operating Officer (COO) Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other key members who work together to implement strategies and ensure progress towards success. ECRHSs mission revolves around making an impact by providing service that improves people’s quality of life. They are committed, to achieving this mission through their efforts. ECRHS has set goals, which include improving women’s services recruiting new physicians and establishing an Oncology Centre. These objectives provide a framework, for decision making and evaluating performance enabling the organization to work towards achieving its goals.
The success of ECRHS relies heavily on its structure and culture. The organization came into existence through the merger of three entities: East River Medical Centre, Northern Mountain Hospital Consortium and Archway Hospital. Following the merger, the CEO of Archway Hospital assumed the role of President and CEO at ECRHS. Drawing from his experience leading an organization he implemented a system that allows for minimal centralized control. The structure of ECRHS includes a leadership team consisting of both retained staff from the regime and new members. The President and CEO who has been in position for nine months now is responsible for managing and directing the organization. By fostering trust among employees actively managing and developing the structure and culture well as providing training and development opportunities ECRHS can ensure its ongoing success. While they face a lot of competition from other healthcare facilities and providers within the chestnut community. Their advantage to maintain being one of the best lies in their level 1 trauma centre, advance technology offerings and their recent acquisition of 100 acres of land for their service expansion. To maintain competitiveness in the healthcare industry ECRHS must evaluate its marketing strategies, from both considerations and financial perspectives. To ensure an analysis of the landscape it is crucial to consider various factors such, as the potential entry of new players, competition among existing firms the influence of buyers bargaining power the threat of substitutes and the leverage held by suppliers. Understanding and addressing customer needs and preferences play a role. ECRHS should conduct surveys among physicians and administrators to gather insights into their

Project Management - Risk Management
1. Risk management is a critical portion of project management. However, is it possible to cripple the project by being too risk wary?
2. Situation - Project managers must realize that they must manage risks and issues in a timely and effective manner. However, many project teams do not practice effective and continuous risk management throughout the project life cycle, preferring to wait until the risk becomes realized, and becomes an issue, before taking any action. Project manager must identify the project risk and review some tools and best practices that make project jobs more effective.
Does above situation has a valid point – why or why not?
Do you think above situation only applies to large scope projects, or does it also apply to smaller ones?

a project environment, time is a constraint rather than a luxury, and this creates a problem for the project manager who has previously never worked with certain team members. Some people contend that the project manager must create some sort of test to measure, early on, the ability of people to work together as a team. Is such a test possible for people working in a project environment? Are there any project organizational forms that would be conducive for such testing?

What do you think? Agree or disagree and why1.The Association for Project Management stated the following, “to provide leadership to the movement of commited organizations and individuals who share our passion for improving project outcomes.”I would be happy to give my personal opinion regarding the mission of the above organization in this descriptive way: In a world where the administration of a project has become a major solution for innovation, it’s important to understand that our future depends on the success of our projects. Valid at all times, this evidence deserves to be regularly reminded. Spearhead of any strategy, the projects promote the emergence of innovative solutions … but project management cannot be improvised. From this thorough thought, the rationale of the Association for Project Management is to promote principles, methods, and tools of project management, first inside the Association for its committed organization and individual members…

A project manager is in charge of a project, and while they agree that a 60-hour work week is unsustainable, they still desire for the project team to be effective. They should anticipate stress from a client or sponsor on a regular basis, to continue their projects within schedule and budget constraints while not compromising scope or quality. How can a project manager keep the project team active while avoiding excessive overtime? Select three of the following project management tactics —the three which may be the best choices for increasing project team efficiency.
a. Trying to appeal to group members' higher-order needs (self-actualization & esteem)b. Projects and individuals should set S.M.A.R.T. targets.c. Getting the staff to believe that the consumer is always correct.d. Team members' psychological profiles (MBTI) are used to fit them to tasks.e. Keeping track of workflow with Kanbanf. . Suppose your college or organization is considering a new project to develop an information system that would allow all employees, students, and customers to access and maintain their own human resources information, such as address, marital status, and tax information. The main benefits of the system would be a reduction in human resources personnel and more accurate information. For example, if an employee, student, or customer had a new telephone number or email address, he or she would be responsible for entering the data in the new system. The new system would also allow employees to change their tax withholdings or pension plan contributions. Identify five potential risks for this new project and be sure to list some negative and positive risks. Provide a detailed description of each risk and propose strategies for addressing each risk
