Regulating social media strategies ensures that the firms have responsible, ethical, and transparent practices. This helps companies maintain their integrity and how they engage on social media platforms. It is also important for companies to have a global perspective and reach different cultures and regions, with this they will have a more inclusive regulation and will address international variations and challenges. These regulations are very important for the users’ privacy. The companies that are going to be talked about are Coca-Cola, Indeed, Apple, Instagram, and Tesla. Coca-Cola uses its social media to create creative marketing, they always have new and different ideas that make their audience stay. Indeed uses social media to consolidate jobs that people are looking for online. Apple used the iPhone to put all the communication systems together in one singular device. Instagram made influencers go viral by using visuals and telling stories. Lastly, Tesla changed the automotive industry by using their social media and digital platforms for marketing updates. Coca-Cola has strict social media regulations, they do not market their products to children under the age of 13. They like to state that they have responsible marketing and they respect the parents and caregivers by not marketing their products for children under the age of 13 (Company, 2022). Indeed promotes that they have employers regulate how the employees present themselves so that no company is disrespected. This is also so that they can present themselves and the company values without any negative comments (Employers, 2022). Apple on the other hand does not use social media as much for traditional marketing and advertising of their products. They use social media more as a way of connecting and engaging with their audience, and to provide customer service when customers have a problem and need it fixed or
