With shapes tiles have them recreate a larger scale size of the shape you call out. Procedure 1. Review previously learned material Give each student a handful of plastic shape tiles. With shapes tiles have them recreate a larger scale size of the shape you call out 2. State Objectives of the Lesson Understanding how to make shapes within shapes 3. With shapes tiles have them recreate a larger scale size of the shape you call out Give hand out of drawn shape. Have students use the small shape pieces to fill I the drawn shape on the hand given to them. Putting them in groups will allow kids to work on multiple shapes at a time and have more piece shapes to use. 5. Independent practice Have every student drawn a picture on a full size sheet of paper using shapes. Once they have the picture have them each fill in the picture with shape tiles. This will show the students how shapes are useful in realty and the world to make real things and objects. .
