An annotated bibliography is a good way to gather information for your research paper. To use this technique, there are two steps. ●
First, make a reference using APA format for the article you choose.
●
Secondly, write a response to the article which critically interprets the article. Don’t just summarize. Get the information relevant to your paper and comment on it. You must be actively thinking about the article.
For this assignment, find two additional articles from quality sources (academic journals). Make two annotated bibliography entries. When you are finished, make a working thesis for your solution
and list three topics that you might use for each supporting paragraph.

Gonida, E. N., & Cortina, K. S. (2014). Parental involvement in homework: Relations with parent and student achievement‐related motivational beliefs and achievement
.
British Journal of Educational Psychology,
84(3), 376-396. This journal deals with research on parents' involvement in children's homework as a type of home education and the children's achievement. There are various types of parental intervention related to children's studies, including autonomy support, control, interference, and cognitive engagement. The results of this study revealed that autonomous support is the most beneficial method of parents' involvement in children's homework achievement, on the contrary, parental interference is the most harmful type.
This journal is reliable in that the host institution is British Journal of Educational Psychology,
which can be recognized as it has lots of interest in education. Based on this journal, parental force on children to study is less effective in children’s achievement. Rather, autonomy support with trust on children is beneficial. Although parental involvement in children’s academic process is positive, trusting them by offering autonomy support is much better than parental interference such as forcing.
