PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT 1 Philosophy Statement Courtney B. Morrow American Military University
PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT 2 Philosophy Statement Family Life Education or also called for short FLE, is when families not only immediate family and individuals come together with a certified educator so that they will be able gain an understandable knowledge of what educators can teach families and help with. This will broaden their minds and open their horizon which will help prevent certain things from happening within a family setting. Some cases will be with professional and sometimes collaborate with other services that can help, this gives families the tools to have cohesive relationships with each other and others surrounding them. Society makes it to seem that families should always be able to be the pillars of society. The education that families will be able to receive are in the aspects of communication and the dynamic that families should be. We as human beings relate to each other in many ways and how we communicate is learned when we are young. The type of education given comes in many forms and with educators they can help guide you to the personnel that you might need if they cannot themselves. Family is people who are joined by blood, and they are married or born into such. Families change overtime just like everything else in life, just like organisms. They should be true to themselves and to each other as some people don’t have families because of tragic events or sometimes could be during birth for a baby who only had that parent. When most people think of family, they think of the traditional but the times we live in now it is very different in many households. Family is the contemporary term, refers to individuals who depend on each other for emotional, physical, and sometimes economic support (Zerwekh, 2005). Having families is important because just like I stated they are not always guaranteed. Family values differ with culture, ethnicity, and life changes. Speaking for myself the value I hold for my family is to treat

Instilling values early on within a family dynamic is key, so they try to live by them every day and as they grow in life. Human behavior plays a part in how values resonate within society. Human beings are just that of flesh, we make mistakes and grow from them. We create a world of light, love, rage, and peace, but sometimes it can be detrimental to us all in general. We believe that we learn about life through school and interaction, but within life we learn from our environment and ultimately our families. We are around family day-in and day- out which is how we develop personality and behavior especially because how our parents and others around us act we tend to mimic as children. Even though we don’t recognize what is happening because we are in the moment, our children and family members are like pillars to who we want to be. FLE gives families who need outreach or help a way to feel seen and be able to get the help they need in a way that is stress free and comfortable depending on their educator. Creating a bond with your educator will make the process of getting the help better in the aspect of wanting the help and not feeling ashamed. Individuals seem to learn visually or by doing. Teaching different strategies but using it in a form a workshop will help members be open to the assignment and engage while watching and see how they work as a team and if it is a struggle help with methods to help reach their goals. It is very important that they can have the space to learn by doing so that when it happens in a home setting, they are able to apply what is learn and get through different situations. Having the dynamic of a family and being able communicate effectively, get education in all aspects of family and ways they can appreciate each other, understand each other, and get
