In this essay, I will reflect on my journey, highlighting the aspects that have intrigued me the most and discussing their potential impact on me as a teacher. Furthermore, I will compare my current thinking to the reflection I wrote in course 5100, where I developed my "why" statement and visionary statement for myself in the classroom. Reflection on Philosophies and Theories of Education: During my studies, I have encountered various philosophies and theories of education that have captured my interest. One philosophy that resonates deeply with me is constructivism. Comparing Course 5100 to the Present: Reflecting on my previous reflection in course 5100, I can observe the evolution of my thinking and the development of my teaching philosophy. In course 5100, I primarily focused on the importance of fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, building strong relationships with students, and creating a safe space for learning. While these aspects still hold great significance to me, my understanding of effective teaching has expanded to encompass the principles of constructivism and student-centered learning. I now recognize that creating an engaging and interactive learning environment goes hand in hand with building positive relationships and promoting inclusivity.
