Hello Class, Inductive reasoning is more about observations and creating a theory and deductive reasoning is based on more of the facts. The main difference of inductive and deductive reasoning is inductive targets developing a theory unlike deductive reasoning targets at testing a theory that already exist. There are many things in our daily lives that can use both inductive and deductive reasonings. For example, of inductive reasonings is all swans in I have seen in my life are female. For and example of deductive reasoning is all fish swim in water. Activities that require inductive vs deductive reasonings are making a valid argument on a topic. For example, a topic that you can use both inductive and deductive reasoning on are all dogs are born with tails. Why this is a example because some people have not seen a dog without a tail unlike other people who have seen dogs born without a tail.
