Briefly define ethics and describe how ethical practices are a key component of effective leadership.
People make decisions and lead their lives according to ethics, which is a system of moral principles (Ethics, 2014). Moral principles is something that is established since we are young children. As we age and experience life, we make some adjustments to them.
Ethical practices are a key component of effective leadership in various ways. When it comes to producing effective leadership, we tend to think about what we need to do and how we need to do it. By
implementing ethical practices, we think about what outcomes our leadership will have. Through their words and actions, ethical leaders demonstrate good values. Ethical practices help make better decisions
and reasonings. By using ethical practices, you are being a good role model to other people and show them how to do things the right way. Thinking ethically involves thinking about something beyond oneself (Ethics, 2014).
