Work culture and relationships are something that we all must cultivate and
participate in; how we interact is based on our personalities and how we express
ourselves. How do we become individuals and part of a larger system, keeping
our identity, while still following proper dress codes? Part of self-expression is
how we dress; but how do we express our true selves in a restricted work
environment? In this paper we will explore the intricacies that dictate what is
ethical and unethical when it comes to dress codes; how we are perceived through
our clothing and the business implications of our apparel.
1.
How do you think clothing choices affect the relationships we form at work or in other
business situations?
Clothing decisions can fundamentally affect the connections we
structure at work or in other business circumstances. Our dress can
impart our societal position, our expertise, and our qualities. It can
likewise impact how others see us and how they connect with us.

setting dress and other behavior standards?

clothing decisions and working environment connections. Clothing
regulations can assist with establishing an expert and conscious
workplace, and they can likewise assist with advancing well-being
and cleanliness. Organizations such as Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) have created sensible guidelines
that dictate what is appropriate attire for work environments;
extensively covering what is safe and reasonable within
construction sites (Stanley, 1995). In any case, clothing standards
should be sensible and socially touchy. Businesses shouldn't force
clothing regulations that victimize representatives based on race,
religion, orientation, or sexual direction.
a. How far should bosses go in setting dress and other conduct norms?
This is a complicated question to answer, as there is no size-fits-all
response. The fitting degree of work environment norms will
change depending on the business, the organization's culture, and
the work prerequisites. There are Businesses should be clear about
