Hi,
Absolutely, technology has presented us with a variety of channels through which we can
communicate with each other. Although I might not like some of those channels, it should not be
an excuse for me not to try to embrace this unfamiliar territory and use it to build God’s
kingdom. In South Carolina, we have a region called the Sandhills, and one of its uncommon
features within the ecosystem is induced fires and how it helps maintain the forestry’s vibrance.
The fire has enriched the soil, and new growth is spawned within a matter of months, such as the
wiregrass in which seed germination is brought about because of the intensity of the heat.
Communicating through online applications requires me to shift in my seat a few times because I
am not a blogger, I do not vlog, and I am not into Twitter and some other applications, to name a
few, but when I am asked to participate or required to do an activity; I would participate and then
go back to delete the account afterward. Thinking that I can minimize my online footprint.
Nevertheless, communicating indirectly through technology is here. It is a feature that requires a
form of adaptation on my part because it is an irregular path that I would usually take. Still, just
like the uncommon feature of the Sandhills germination process for some plants, ecology
portrays how different or uncommon organisms interact with each other and perform various
tasks and responsibilities within the environment to achieve an expected result.

My talent might
not be with blogging or twittering, but I know that I am a part of God’s ecosystem that can
overcome and achieve much through him. Moreover, while I may not be skilled at that particular
application, I should be able to respect and encourage others who are effective or proficient
(which I have learned during this course) within that setting, or as Drs Lowes states, within each
of the ecologies we may find ourselves.
2
Although I have limitations, as you stated, God is not
limited by the chosen medium.
