I think that the Turing test is not the right way to test intelligence in computers since a
machine could be trained using lots of data to give responses that are just human-
like even though it doesn't understand the full meaning of what it is doing. For a person to
be considered intelligent, they must be able to gather information using critical thinking making
the Turing test unable to measure true intelligence (
Natale, 2021
). Human thinking and computer
memory are similar in that both can store data in the memory and retrieve the information. The
differences are shown when it comes to forgetting, where humans tend to forget things a lot
while computers do not forget not unless memories are deleted and they have no backup. I don't
think that computers can be as intelligent as humans because humans have emotions that affect
their relationships while computers do not display any emotions hence relying on programmed
emotions. Also, human intelligence comes from growing and having experiences that add to their
knowledge, unlike computers which do not grow (
Locke, 2020
).
Self-care shows that human intelligence can be able to take care of themselves in terms of
improving their mental health while artificial intelligence cannot take care of itself, it creates
applications that can be used to track one's mental health. Social justice illustrates artificial
intelligence can just help in tracking the trends used in justice while human intelligence has
empathy and uses a lot of critical thinking to provide justice (
Wang, 2019
). Emotional intelligence
explains that human intelligence is where one has feelings for other people therefore having
empathy for others. Artificial Intelligence can be used to analyze comments containing either
positive or negative texts and give an emotional judgment. Ethics Human intelligence in terms of
ethics is necessary for understanding moral theories and recognizing moral problems which are
used to judge the morals of humans. Artificial Intelligence is involved in creating systems that
respect human values and help in providing opinions that encourage honesty in society.
