Identify and clarify the problem-You have to know the exact nature of a problem.

Gather information- You need to ask questions and get answers surrounding the problem

Evaluate the evidence- Going over the answers from gathering information

Consider alternatives and implications- Coming up with good solutions for the issue at hand.

Choose and implement the best alternative- pick the best solution and put it in place.

Explain how you, as a health care practitioner, would use the critical thinking steps listed previously to reach a solution to the following problem: A patient from a different culture believes he has been cursed with a “liver demon” and will die unless the organ is surgically removed
." First, I would identify and clarify why the patient thinks this. Second, I will gather information from the patient and condition and ask the necessary questions. I would ask myself
if the patient has a liver demon in their culture. Thirdly I would evaluate the evidence I have and come up with alternatives. Fourth I would find information on surgery and lifestyle changes
for the patient and treatment options. Lastly, I would give these alternatives to the patient as a way to ease them and reassure them.
