Ethical Decision-Making

affirm that morality is absolute and objective because the Bible makes itvery clear that God set moral laws - the standard of right and wrong. Mankind is not given this option. Isaiah 45:19 states, “I have not spoken in secret, in some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, Seek Me in a waste place; I, the LORD, speak righteousness, declaring things that are upright. “ Followers of God are called to speak the truth - the objective truth, not the popular truth as man wants to define it. And even when the truth “hurts” as noted in The Beginning of Wisdom, “...Jesus, his 12 apostles, as well as Mark, Luke, James, and Paul were pursued, persecuted, imprisoned, and tortured, and all but one were horrendously murdered for their beliefs.” It is far better to be free - “the truth will set you free”, than bound by our imaginations.
