Research three scholarly articles about the benefits of including students with disabilities in
general education classrooms.
Article 1 Title: Teachers attitudes Toward Inclusion: Factors Influencing Classroom

With the article teachers attitudes toward inclusion factors influencing classroom practice it
discussed the positive view points about inclusive practices within a general classroom
environment. The overall article follows a study that show data of teacher attitudes towards
inclusive practices and how they are impelling it within there classroom environment. Looking at
the data the article summary support the the philosophy of inclusion by the teacher where more
positive when they had some pervious experiences with inclusive classroom. It also showed that
teachers are implanting inclusive practices with the support of administration and other
specialized teachers that can support teacher with incorporating inclusion.

Within this article is discuss how they examined teacher attitudes towards inclusion by observing
there behaviors in there classroom environment. The study is trying to prove or find out one of
the biggest question about inclusion is how general education teachers are responding to this
new type of teacher where everyone is included and supported by the teacher.

The future application of this article is that is show data that teacher want support from their
administration and other teacher who specialize in special education and even how the inclusion
process would look like in a general education-classroom.

The four benefits of inclusive classroom is shown within this article by how general education
teachers and special education teachers will work closely together to create a inclusive
environment for students. This article also supports the philosophy of inclusion because it break
down what is need for the student to be successful in a general education classroom but with the
benefits of still getting services for special education. It suggest co-teaching methods which can
teachers can work side by side with one another to support the whole class. Lastly it touch based
on the benefits that inclusion bring to student who are not only in special education but all
student.

Lack of resources is another common argument is the lack of resources for teachers but also the
availability of resources. Also inclusion also does not look the same across public schools and
even in private and charter may not even have one.

This information can be used in my future practice as guided to different benefits to inclusion
with the general ed classroom. It also gives me information on how to differentiated instruction
and support different need of students as well as even change the terminology of being different.

The philosophy of inclusion in the this articles is that student who are in restrictive classroom
have been keep away from the general population for a variety of reason . The article did offer
comment on why they think other don’t support inclusion is because the teacher is most only
focusing on support special need student. Then the article came back and gave off lot of reason
on how inclusion can work as with the support of educators collaborating and getting the support
they need.

The common claim within this article is that student with special needs where seen as a
disruption to the learning environment in a general education classroom.The negative the
mainstream student learning will be affected by the need of special need student.

This article showed me how others look at inclusion in a negative view but on the other hand it
show how collaboration and support from other can make inclusion successful. One of the biggest
take aways was the statement that no one inherent right to be free form inconvenience.
