Which branch of government will interest groups try to influence the most? -Interest groups try to influence Congress the most. ( Legislative branch) 4. What are the two reasons Craig gives that limit the potential for presidents to be susceptible to interest group pressures? -The president has many professional people to advise him and can only serve two terms. 5. How do political parties differ from interest groups? -Political parties exist to get candidates elected. Interest groups exist to influence the policies that those elected officials make. -Also, interest groups are not the same as political acts committees or (PAC)

Besides money, what resources two resources do the wealthy have that the poor don’t? -Access to more information and the ability to disseminate their views more articulately 10. According to the book Affluence and Influence , which income group benefits the most from policies that Congress makes? -Congress is much more likely to enact laws that respond to the interests of the wealthy.
