Think about how you have used technology in science and other classes in the past. Describe 5 ways you have used technology in classes (2 must be from science). From your experiences and research, does educational technology improve teaching and learning in the classroom? Support your answer with at least two sources. Thinking about ways that we use technology has changed forever. Thinking about the way I grew up with one computer and dial up internet verses the way everything is created, transferred and utilized online or using technology. In the classroom, I use technology as a great resource for learning. There are so many ways you can use technology. The first way I would use technology in science is for research. Research for first grade classroom it's not key in terms or asking Google it is strategically using websites that are visually and age appropriate for first graders. These science websites open the door for various pursuits to clear scientific breakthroughs for each student. One of my favorite websites is called Pebble go. Our school received a grant to ask where access to Pebble go. This website houses anywhere from thousands of books that can be read aloud, videos how can we review on the topic, activities, and games can we play pretend this science and the last thing that we are reviewing. It's very important to use kid friendly websites and make sure that they are safe. I prescribed by the district which you are occupancy. The second way I used take my dream classroom is iPad. Oh each iPad there are various apps and games that students can use in order to better understand science. One of my favorite choices. The arcades also give a window to the outside world students live there and helps the student to see nature at its finest on some of these apps. Another area I would use electronics devices and science is a microscope I know that's not typical technology actually has something that's used but this microscope is digitally modified for students that are first grade and instead of showing the attributes of the item that is being studied it shows videos inside of what you're looking at and why you're looking at it and it is an independent work session technology use device. I don't know, finally you said OK launching the classroom that I would use is creating a group PowerPoint. PowerPoint with Microsoft app that can be used to manipulate and change the way all project is completed. These are just a few things I'll use in the classroom. DeRosa, D. A. & Abruscato, J. (2019).
