Interventions for developing daily living skills in adolescents and adults with (ASD). The topic chosen for this research paper is interventions for developing daily living skills in adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Daily living skills refer to the abilities required to navigate and function independently in various aspects of everyday life, including self-care, home management, community participation, and personal safety (Smith & Johnson, 2019; Brown & Anderson, 2018). This topic was chosen due to its significance in improving the quality of life and enhancing the functional independence of individuals with ASD, enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives. The research articles selected for this study were assessed based on the strength of their research designs, the level of detail provided, and the validity of the authors' conclusions (Garcia & Wong, 2020; Patel & Smith, 2022). Each article described an experimental design that led to data-based conclusions (Chen & Boettcher, 2021). The research aligns with the Capella Compassion Code and the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts. The studies involved obtaining informed consent from participants or their legal guardians, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring participant well-being (Smith & Johnson, 2019; Garcia & Wong, 2020). Additionally, the research aimed to promote inclusivity and diversity by considering the unique needs of individuals with ASD from different cultural backgrounds and ages (Patel & Smith, 2022). The five articles examined in this study varied in terms of participant characteristics, independent and dependent variables, major findings, and ethical considerations. The articles included participants from diverse age groups, ranging from adolescents to adults, diagnosed with ASD (Smith & Johnson, 2019; Patel & Smith, 2022). The interventions implemented in the studies encompassed various approaches such as structured teaching, visual supports, social skills training, and applied behavior analysis techniques (Brown & Anderson, 2018; Chen & Boettcher, 2021).
