"Uniquely You" DISC assessment (Results) This assessment has profoundly stated that we can improve our effectiveness, quality of life, and relationships by understanding why we do what we do. Most problems are simple "people problems." We misunderstand how people think, feel, and act the way they do; however, we are wonderfully and naturally endowed to succeed in life. Fulfilling your purpose involves understanding yourself and others. Learning how to relate wisely to others is vital! Supported by the Bible Scriptures, David writes in the book of (Psalm 139:14). What did I learn about my behavioral patterns? My assessment has displayed my high blend, supportive, and Cautious traits. Yet, I discovered my behavioral combinations as "S/C" Types, stable and contemplative types. We like to search and uncover the facts. We want to weigh the evidence and proceed slowly to a logical conclusion. We enjoy small groups of people. We do not like speaking in front of large crowds. We are systematic and sensitive to the needs of others but can be critical and caustic. We are loyal friends but can be too faultfinding. We need to improve their enthusiasm and optimism. We are motivated by kind and conscientious opportunities to do things slowly and correctly. Furthermore, to control my behavioral blends, I must be assertive and more decisive; be more enthusiastic; enjoy relationships rather than endure them and remember that peace and happiness do not come from security and safety. (See Graph 2), otherwise classified as a "Steady Competent" S/C, Passive / People-oriented "S"— Steady, stable, shy, security-oriented, servant, submissive, specialist. However, Passive / Task-oriented "C"— Cautious, competent, calculating, compliant, careful, contemplative. (Uniquely You). This is in comparison to the classification type (This is expected of me!) of S/I (see Graph 1), which is considered a "Steady Influencer." explains that one that has a "Competent Influencing Specialist" type of personality has the
following traits regarding relational style. "C/I/S" s, the "S" is shared among the two; however, I like to do things right, impress others and stabilize situations. Also, not being aggressive or pushy people. They enjoy large and small crowds. They are good with people and prefer quality. This assessment has pointed me in the direction that I need to improve on. Am I an introvert or extrovert? As a high "S / C" or "C / S" personality type, the assessment revealed me to be more passive than active. In other words, I tend to be more reserved than outgoing, (I am an introvert). I don't often jump into things or express my feelings openly. I am people-oriented but prefer to be one-on-one rather than in a large group. I like being behind the scenes rather than being upfront or the center of attention. I am also task-oriented and prefer to do the research more than be in control of projects. I can be a picky perfectionist when people try to get me to do illogical or unreasonable things. Do I prefer being involved with projects or people? After the assessment, and with what I have learned, I prefer being involve with people. Moreso that my type is in the majority, and many people identify with me. I blend in with the masses and see myself as just another person. Sometimes, people try to take advantage of me, as I tend not to be very aggressive or assertive. I don't tend to be outspoken or impressive. I make a great friend and loyal listener, but not usually an inspiring public speaker. Most everyone likes me because I am not very pushy or bossy, and I typically know what I am talking about.
