Clinical Field Experience A: Data Collection and Motivation Early childhood care and education (ECE) programs can be extremely successful intervention that improve children's results throughout their school years and into adulthood. Children gain significantly from stimulating, supportive early childhood care, which includes quality ECE with responsive, interactive teachers, access to materials, and safe and stimulating environments experienced before they attend primary school (Raikes, Sayre, & Davis, 2021). The interview was done virtually, and the teacher was very thorough in answering all the questions. I was impressed by how unique she is in utilizing various methods and strategies in her classroom to ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. One of the ways that she keeps students motivated in the classroom is by displaying students' work weekly in the classroom. Students' work should be proudly displayed throughout the classroom. This sends a message to students that they are active participants in creating knowledge in the classroom. The teacher is not the sole holder of knowledge. Additionally, teachers can use language that promotes the community of learners including the teacher rather than a room full of individual learners. Participation in classroom activities is an important aspect of students' learning. Overall develops their cognitive skills. They become more expressive. Students learn to express their ideas and thoughts effectively. They also learn to persuade others about their viewpoints. When someone asks questions to them then they become prepared for unexplored areas of knowledge and also search for various methods to resolve their queries. All these help in their effective personality development. Understanding how effective classroom participation is in students learning, I would use this method throughout my future career as an early childhood teacher to ensure that my students are motivated to learn throughout their educational journey.
