Scenario At internship, your supervisor (a Certified School Counselor) has you observe him conduct an assessment with a new client. The client is a 17 yo first-generation female immigrant from Laos who moved to NYC when she was 13. To begin, the counselor asks the client why she wants an assessment. The client replies that she wants help figuring out a job that can help her work after she graduates school. Your supervisor decides to administer the Strong Interest Inventory to assess her career interests and the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III to assess for any potential personality or psychopathological barriers the client may encounter while trying to find employment. In groups of 2-3, discuss some potential ethical issues that need to be addressed in this case Assume that the only things that occurred in the case were those presented in the scenario above.
