Lab Questions ● How does the pattern of your individual data relate to the pattern of results predicted? It was predicted that participants memory would be slightly higher for digits, then slightly lower for letters, and slightly lower still for words, but my results showed that my memory was higher with letters than digits. Words were still lowest in my results. ● Why are some stimuli easier to remember than others? What trick did you use to perform better in this lab? Some stimuli are easier to remember due to practice. Remembering telephone numbers, birthdays and such may make your ability to recall digits stronger. I only struggled with words, and so I started to make a story out of the words as they appeared so that I could remember them.
