● How does the pattern of your individual data relate to the pattern of results predicted? The pattern of my individual data relates to the pattern of results predicted because it was accurate when it said that words would be slightly slower for words. Words were the hardest for me as there were more words to try to remember I would forget. The prediction stated that digits would be the highest for me that wasn’t the case my highest was letters. It was easier for me to remember letters versus numbers. ● Why are some stimuli easier to remember than others? What trick did you use to perform better in this lab? Some stimuli are easier to remember than others because some individuals have larger memory spans and can better keep in mind different stimuli which gives them an advantage for a variety of cognitive tasks (Bruce Goldstein 2018). A person’s memory span is linked to performance on a variety of different test, reading skills, and a variety of cognitive task. The tricked that I used to perform better in this lab was saying it out loud and then hurrying up and repeating what I said while clicking my answers.
