Lab Questions Did your results match those predicted as described in the output? Explain how your results did or did not match the prediction. The prediction states that if I randomly chose a door and then randomly switched or stayed, I should be right 50% of the time which is correct for me because majority of the time I would randomly choose a door and then switch it to the other door which made me get a 57%. The prediction also stated that if I randomly chose a door and stayed with that choice, I would be right 33% of the time which is what I was doing in the beginning but once I started realizing most of the time the present was at the other door that’s when I started choosing the other door. Why does switching your choice lead to better odds in the long run? Switching your choice lead to better odds in the long run because changing your mind increases your chances. In the book it states that switching your choices will lead to better odds in the long run because of the law of probability (Goldstein, 2018). 3
