2 Abstract I chose Adlerian Counseling theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) theory based on my own outlook on life and how I feel I can use them in conjunction with each other to allow the love of God to be seen through me and the works I could do by utilizing both the Adlerian Counseling theory and CBT theory. My four core values relate directly to my outlook on life and my life experiences as well as my personality, which sets me up for success with the use of both of these two theories. My overarching worldview is that we as humans were created to love and serve God by loving and serving those around us as stated in Matthew 6:36-40 (NIV, 2011; Tackett, 2006). My
