The article is fairly dated but there aren’t many new ideas that have come up in neo- Freudian theory since that time. h. The author takes a stance that humanistic and positive psychologists are often at odds with each other and her lays out the reasons they should/could work together. e. This article was written in 2014. It is fairly current and relevant. f. The article is valid because it is a peer reviewed article, so it has other peers that agreed to the writing and message of the article. g. It discusses the similarities between humanistic and positive psychology and how they could unite despite previous disagreements. Meaning, he’s saying historically they haven’t gotten along but todays’ culture calls for unity and these groups could be some that unite. h. Possibly since I chose to look into positive psychology.
