Nephi 17:3-4:"And thus we see that the commandments of God must
be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God, he doth nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them; wherefore, he did provide means for us while we did sojourn in the wilderness."

What reaction or feedback did you receive (if any)?
. It was a really spiritual and enlightening experience. I could relate to Nephi and his family's desert adventure when I read the scripture more closely. It served as a reminder of the value of having faith and following God's instructions. The verse struck a chord with me because I have personally witnessed how perseverance and obedientness to heavenly direction have produced unanticipated support and resources when I have needed them. It was encouraging to share this text with Jessica. I had the impression that I was imparting a significant knowledge that would bolster faith and give hope. Talking about how we, like Nephi and his family, have attempted to follow God's commands and experienced His presence in our lives
has created a feeling of unity. Acknowledging the heavenly help we frequently receive in ways we are not immediately aware of was also a humbling experience.
. Although they varied, her responses were all very positive. She expressed her appreciation for the reminder of God's unwavering love and support. She also felt thoughtful, thinking more carefully about their personal connection with God's commands and the benefits of obeying him. We became closer to one another via a lovely sharing of testimony and faith-
building anecdotes.
