his entire household. After hearing this David set out to retrieve the ark once more whilst
rejoicing the whole way. David made sacrifices and was dancing and praising the Lord. While
entering the City of David Michal watched David praise the Lord and her heart filled with
hatred. David then made more sacrifices and gave food to each person in the crowd of Israelites.
After he was done David then returned home to bless his home, Michal greeted him and

tribes his first priority was to reclaim the ark of God.
Why did David leave the ark of God at Obed-Edom’s household for 3 months?
Uzzah accidentally touched the cart carrying the ark of God. In anger God struck down Uzzah. After seeing
this David became filled with fear and anger. Not wanting the ark in his city David left it at Obed-Edom’s house.
Why did David get it back from Obed-Edom?
David received word that the ark of God had blessed Obed-Edom and his household.
Why did Michal mock David?
David praised and worshiped the ark of God on the way back to the City of David and while in the city. In
Michal’s eyes David was acting a fool. But to David he was expressing his utmost praise to the Lord. David told her
that to even the slave he was held in the highest esteem.
6. How
:
How did David get the ark back?
Men that David had gathered carried it back to the City of Daniel. This is because God did not want any
mechanical thing to carry it around due to the fact that there was nothing mechanical about the arch.
How did Michal not have any children for the rest of her life?
She mocked David for praising the Lord, so her punishment was the inability to bear a child.
