Gospel Essential Beliefs
Nature of God
Christians believe in God as a personal and intelligent diving being, and creator of all. He is believed to exist above and beyond the universe. Genesis 1 states God created the Heavens and the earth, from light to humanity and animals within 6 days and rested on the 7
th
, he is known as a sovereign god to whom all glory, honor, and praise should belong. God is characterized as good, loving, just, jealous, faithful, and holy, Christians know him to exist as three persons father, son, and the holy spirit. The biblical testimony is that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are responsible for everything that was created (Schreiner, 2013). The Trinity is a doctrine that gives
more guidance on the nature of god, many of the verses in the bible see god as faithful, merciful, forgiving, and all-powerful. All of his attributes define him as what Christians believe him to be, these factors contribute to his power and almighty being.
“
He will also keep you firm to the end so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful and has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:8-10 NIV. In Christianity, god is the lord and savior and humanity looks at the world as god created it to be.

Nature of Humanity
The creation of humanity was created to build a relationship between god and humans, humans are the only creatures made out of his image to create to know and worship god by loving him and obeying his ruling and serving his creation. Christ 'assumed our fallen and corrupt humanity when he became flesh', in this act of assumption he sanctified it in himself, and all through his earthly life he overcame our sin through his purity, condemning sin in our flesh by sheer holiness
of his life within it. That is why death could not hold him even when he entered into and submitted to it, for there was no sin in him (Crisp, 2019). Humanity’s purpose is to serve and bring glory to his name. humanity was created to worship god and care for his creation, to be fruitful and multiply, and to live life how god intended. Other worldviews have a unique view of what gives human value and dignity and what leads to the flourishing of humanity, which can happen only if Christians follow in his plan to gain the purpose he created for them. God punished mankind, beginning with Adam and Eve. Those consequences contributed to the man suffering with pain and hard work/labor, whereas God punished women with childbearing pain and being ruled over by a man (Genesis 3:16-19 NIV). The root of the pain we suffer started from Adam and eve but if humanity made better choices evil wouldn’t exist. God punished all of mankind, starting with Adam and Eve. God punished man with pain and hard work/labor, whereas God punished women with childbearing pain and being ruled over by a man (Genesis 3:16-19 NIV).
