Dr. Baldwin letter to the church BIB-380
Greetings, congregation brothers and sisters in Christ As a servant of God, she greets you with blessings and peace to God's people in the congregation. My congregation, I bless you with righteousness and love. Unfortunately, the congregation, there's been in a situation regarding the prosecution. The prosecution has a problem with our church and Christianity alike. So as a congregation, we will always face prosecution until our father, Lord Jesus, returns.
But grace God has been saving us from not influencing sin in our church. So the instructions for the congregation is to know that even though as a servant spreading the gospel, it shows that our congregation needs to be in order. We don't want our congregation or the church to be scattered just like acts 11:19-20 ESV “ Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no
one except Jews. But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, on coming to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists also, preaching the Lord Jesus. (Acts 11:19-20 ESV). As a servant and pastor for Christ, it’s the job of a pastor to restore the resurrection of Christ in the congregation. The recommendation for the congregation is to show a welcoming environment and show love to sinners and believers alike. As a church, we should understand the
church, like Paul's church planning ministry. The instructions he gave to the church he wrote to are the same way a servant provides instructions. As a congregation, our primary goal is to build up the kingdom of god. As planned, be traveling to the church to ensure the congregation follows the instructions.
“for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God,[a] which he obtained with his own blood. I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock” (Acts 20:27-29 ESV). I reflect on writing this letter because I want the church to have a good foundation with the Lord.
And that was my most significant concern about the Church trying to fix the system of being a welcoming church. And after I visit this church, I will bid you all farewell and Godspeed to the merciful congregation and the church. And to always keep the instructions from me connected to the church.
In the end, I will lead you to this prayer, dear Lord. I pray for this church in this congregation so we can understand what needs to be fixed and concerned for the welcoming system in the church
to let them have wisdom and love to bring outsiders to the church. Amen.
