1 - Introduction
This document details the plan for an observation tower to be constructed on the Zenda Farms property. The document includes the development plan for the tower, some programming ideas to be associated, a competitive analysis of surrounding land, a critical risk analysis of the tower, a cost analysis of the designs, and a management plan for the final construction.
2 - Development Plan
2.1 Roles and Responsibilities
The Observation Tower central design team consists of six people: Abbi D’Angelo (Project Leader), Ryan Azer (Internal Communications Expert), Joshua Cirillo (Secretary), Ashanti Fleming (ADA and Environmental Expert), Joshua Geary (External Communications Liaison), and Robby Schmitz (Tower and Materials

The tower will be constructed by a contractor and construction team, so all materials will be procured and handled by them. Zenda will be in charge of posting interpretive signage around/on top of the tower, and the children programming team will be in charge of incorporating the tower as a destination for their activities.
3- Programming Ideas
3.1 Programming 1 - Interpretive Signage
The first programing concept involves interpretive signage. This would be a short term project with no permanent staffing requirements. The initial outlay would just be the cost of the signs themselves coming to somewhere in ball park of $500. The goal would to be have theses signs on the top of tower in such a way that they can help provide information about what can be seen without obstructing the views. Things the might describe include local flora and fauna such as the birds and bees or landmarks like the farmhouse ruins.
3.2 Programming 2 - Scavenger Hunt Destination
The scavenger hunt is intended to get young kids exploring the farm and seeing all it has to offer. At

To begin, after the site has been chosen several lengthy steps must follow, the site location meets all regulatory, environmental, historical and municipal zoning requirement approvals. Additionally, the property on which the tower will be constructed must be free and clear of all encumbrances and mortgages usually 100’ x 100’ square foot area of property. When all those steps are successfully completed and approved the construction can now move forward with a notice to proceed. There will be a site visit organized for the bidding process inviting pre-approved contractors, civil engineers,

The first person to fill in all of their squares without repeating a name wins. Tell students to raise their paper and call out if they think they have won. 7. Give students time to complete their scavenger hunt. Walk around the classroom while students are engaged to make sure everyone is playing fairly and nobody is running. Call time when a student has announced they have finished and have students quietly freeze where they are standing while you check the possible winning sheet. If the student is mistaken, have the class resume the activity. If not, ask students to return to their seats. 8. Discuss the scavenger hunt with students. Who learned something new about their classmates? What did they learn? Why was it important to use good listening skills during the scavenger hunt? Why was it important to use good speaking skills? 9. If time allows, students can practice their reading and listening skills online with interactive stories at this Web site http://www.alfy.com/Storyville 10. 11. Evaluation: 12.
The FBLA scavenger hunt was a fun activity that we did in FBLA to kick off the start of the school year. This scavenger hunt was just like a regular one, except with a slight twist. You had to take a selfie with the person/place or thing that was on the list. There were about 20-30 people at Legion Park where the scavenger hunt took place at 7:00 pm. We all got into groups of three to four and had a blast while hunting down the twenty things to take selfies with. The top two teams got candy as prizes for finishing the fastest. The team including Taylor Peterson, Kade Reiman, Tessa Hannaford, and Addison Gyrha managed to finish the quickest with another team seconds behind them. The second place team was composed of Yusuf Khan, Gage Armstrong,
Strategic planning within a company is a tool used in companies that help mature areas in total quality management. This type of planning creates a cohesive management system for lower level employees to better adapt in. “Strategic planning determines where an organization is going over the next year or more and how it 's going to get there. Typically, the process is organization-wide, or focused on a major function such as a division, department or other major function”(McNamara, 2008). In order to plan effectively one must first make a clear assessment of the plan and have an analysis on the corporations mission statement and objective.
Kiss + Cathcart did an incredible job of transforming Brooklyn waterfront, from a brownfield industrial strip to oasis of a public garden. What is surreal of the entire project, that the 13300.0 ft2 area is accessible to all and mostly covered by grass. The program for the site is going to be an athletic field, community facility and an NYC Park maintenance and operation facility into a 6.2-acre park. The building was only awarded, LEED Silver building in a park. Not only is was the conversion of a brownfield area to a park area, making this project sustainable. Also, The building is Under the northwest-facing green roof, the building is conceived as earth-sheltered, with controlled southeast and southwest solar exposures. Making the solar

“This dramatic 64- story, 1.4 square-foot-office tower was designed to provide the major tenant with all the advantages of a private facility while maximizing land value by including additional multi-tenant speculative space. From the observation tower the horizontal building’s three parallel bands can be seen that extend into the lush landscape. The architects’ concept was to immerse the museum in nature by creating a set of three bracketed pavilions under one roof surrounded by gardens. The roof can be seen as

The Glasgow Science Centre project was conceived as a way of promoting Glasgow as a major high-tech center, as well as a means of revitalizing the River Clyde dock area of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. The Science Centre consists of three main exhibits: the IMAX Theatre, the Science Mall, and the Glasgow Tower. The stunning design of the Glasgow Science Centre Tower was envisioned as a one of a kind structure capable of revolving 360° from the ground up and was expected to become a famous landmark. The unique design of the Glasgow Tower was envisioned to feature a viewing cabin on top of a reed slim tower 330 feet above the River Clyde. The distinctive design presented an array of engineering, technical, and safety challenges to
Finally, many tools were used to document our site visits that would used during the modeling of the buildings. As stated before, PlanGrid was very useful when viewing the construction sheets. PlanGrid was used on an iPad for easy access during the site visit. The iPad, as well as our phones, was used to take pictures of any notable changes or major features of the buildings. The pictures were used as references during the modeling portion of the project. A measuring tape was also used to take the dimensions of sections of the buildings that were not clearly labeled on the construction sheets. For example, the Architecture Annex’s terrance needed a measuring tape to measure its dimensions because the top-down view was absent from the
