In the western cultures we have developed many strategies for enhancing education, the development and encouragement of anyone wishing to learn is a key environmental factor for society as we know it. The governance of learners and teachers and acceptable codes of conduct for both is key to the success of both learning and teaching. These rules are set because a safe environment free from threat has become our minimum expectation but developing from that comes an expectation of furthering ourselves through our educational system. The Educational system in Great Britain is considered by many to be the best in the world, the rules and disciplines set are respected as being of the highest calibre both morally and ethically. An institution where everyone feels supported, where everyone enjoys being, where everyone is able and wants to work together and is of equal value, where everyone respects and promotes the value of not just themselves but of each

As a schoolteacher in Edinburgh during the 1930’s there were many rules and regulations that teachers had to adhere to in order to successfully feed the minds of their young pupils. Schoolteachers had more of a responsibility during this period than today because school was the only source of information and education that people could receive. Due to this fact, the government set strict policies and curriculums (and still do) that teachers must follow so that students could grow up to become well round

In this essay, I will discuss what type of conduct I believe should be criminalised and why this is so. Because criminalisation stigmatizes individuals, it is something that we should be careful with. Being labelled as a murderer has a very high impact on one’s life, whether it is to find a job, a home or just to create relationships; people get blamed for being wrongdoers. Therefore, I believe that offensive conduct should not be criminalised, most of the time at least. The mere judgement of something to be “offensive” is subjective; who is to decide what is offensive and what is not? To criminalise harm done to others, I agree, as does mostly everyone else; it is very uncontroversial as a principle. Indeed, even though there is two views of the harm principle which I will discuss later on, intellectuals agree that this type of conduct should be prohibited. For what other types of conduct should be criminalised, I share Feinberg 's view that other principles never justify criminalization.

In human services there are many prominent characteristics that I believe that are important. Trying to pick three most prominent characteristics is difficult because there are so many others but from watching the interview videos with Mitchell Duncan and Linda Williams the three prominent characteristics would be loyalty, flexibility, and a desire to help others. When working with an individual there needs to be a desire in helping other and that can be shown by building a relationship that is built on trust and loyalty. After the client feels the strong part of loyalty/ support the individual will be more willing to tell the human service worker what is truly going on with them. As a human service professional it is important to met the
There are several different concepts surrounding the topic of education but most problematic is in regards to the aims of education within society. With several aims proposed by educational philosophers there is confusion surrounding what education is for and which type of education best suits the individual. Lewis (2015) posed that education promotes student learning and potential as well as fostering of community and self esteem within a school environment. Overall education is the defining product of good citizens in contemporary society, with diverse cultures, social norms and political standpoints. Liberal, vocational and wellbeing education will be discussed throughout arguing that a combined approach to education is most relevant within modern society. The ethical obligations for teachers within education will also be discussed.
