In the airline business industry it is requirement to have outstanding leadership and culture to achieve a strong business operation and management.
The two airlines discussed in this report are Ryan air being the main business of the report with Easyjet being the business for comparison and explanations in leadership styles and culture that are carried out and utilised. Both business offer the same services which are cheap fare flights.

It is an Irish-owned airline that was established in 1985 by the Ryan family to compete with Aer Lingus and British Airways on the Ireland–U.K. routes. Ryanair offer a point a to point b service and is a low budget airlines and aims to turn flights around within 25 minutes and routes are consistently the shortest of all the Low Cost Carrier’s.
RyanAir has transformed itself from an industry minnow into one of Europe 's biggest airlines over two decades. However, its obsessive focus on the bottom line has dented its public image. Such as; making employees pay for their own work attire and training along with hidden fees for customers that require extra services.

The company expanded and within 4 years it had 350 employees, 14 aircraft, and carried 600,000 passengers a year. It is currently serving to 26 European Countries with 148 destinations. It operates on 794 different routes daily serving by more than 1050 flights in a day. Finally the essay will discuss the most important operation decision and explain it further in detail. easyJet is a well known low-cost airline which operates in several European countries and has been founded by serial entrepreneur Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou in 1995. easyJet undertook intensive research of a United States owned low-cost airline ‘Southwest Airline’. Most of the concepts for easyJet were adopted from Southwest airline; however easyJet added its own touch which reduced operating costs even further. EasyJet was strategically located at London's Luton airport.
