Action Plan Reflection
1. How successful were you in reaching your goal? Be specific. My goal was to get 35 comments on my Facebook post about how do you think of animal abuse, and I got exactly 35 comments on my Facebook post. 2. What challenges did you anticipate before starting, and how successful were you in preventing them? Be specific. I thought that no one will respond to my post. Every time when I post something on Facebook, no like replies or gives a thumbs up, so I was scared that I will not be able to finish 1% of my project, but at the end, I got the exact amount comments I needed. 3. What unexpected challenges did you come across? Be specific. I didn’t really come across any unexpected challenges

What aspect of your action plan was surprisingly easy? Please explain. Literally just posting the post of how people think of animal abuse. All I had to do is the typing, check grammar, click post and that’s it, it’s fairly easy. 7. What leadership skill did you find you are really good at? Please explain. I feel like I am really good at asking people for a response because no one ever comments on my post of even give a thumbs up, u then when I ask for a response, they all came and respond to my post, which made me really surprise. 8. What did you learn about yourself during this process? Be specific. I learn that I am not shy at all, every time when I meet new friends, new people, I always tell them I am shy, but when I was posting the post, I literally went like “ok this done that done, post, goodbye.” and I learn that I actually have Facebook friends that respond me. 9. Going forward, if you want to be a leader for change, what lessons have you learned during this process? Be specific. I learn how people think of animals as their friend, I see all of my comments are people going against animal abuse, none of them comment “I don’t care” or “I think it’s great to do that”, they all respect the animals as the animals respect
The social issue I have chosen is pet adoption and why people should choose this way of finding an animal companion, as opposed to buying one. This is an issue because across the United States, there is an overpopulation or mistreatment of dogs and cats every day. Animal shelters take in these animals and care for them as much as they can. Animal shelter intakes are anything from those picked up by an animal control, surrendered by owners, or rescued from reports of animal cruelty. In the United States, approximately 5-12 million companion animals enter animal shelters annually and approximately 1-4 million of these are euthanized. The Wood County Humane Society, located in Bowling Green, OH, is one of the several shelters that care for animals in need of help.
Attention Getter: Whenever I look into my dog’s eyes, I could never believe that she was once in an awful situation then brought to an animal rescue shelter, but she was. She was physically abused, starved, and never went outside until brought to the rescue. A lot of animals are
Three brothers for whatever reason decided that they would get their local police department into a shootout. Upon starting a shootout with the first officer to cross his path many more officers joined in the shootout when an undercover cop found himself in the middle and heroically sacrificed himself to stop the shootout. The main problem here is that for some reason these three brothers chose to start a shootout with law enforcement and the crossfire caused the death of an officer which is of course no surprise due to their actions. Of course the issue here is that the undercover officer lost his life in the crossfire to help stop the shooter and that
Animal cruelty is a huge problem in this Country, to bring awareness I am going to start the Tan Paws Ribbon Campaign.
During class thirteen we began by talking about facilitators. As a facilitator you want to start off with an icebreaker and go from there. If the group is large, you can invite a colleague in order to co facilitate. Another tool that facilitator’s use is flip charts to allow the parties to see the direction that the facilitation is going. When preparing for a facilitation a facilitator should use note cards or have the parties write on posted notes. Aside from preparation, knowing how to manage the facilitation is important. Knowing who the people that are going to be at the table is helpful to conducting a successful facilitation. Even though the people with the most influence will be at the table with the facilitator; people may still be
Activist: I am from an animal rights group and we want to understand why are you doing this?
I want to show the world how absolutely amazing God’s creatures are, and, for those who are not a follower of Christianity, I want to bring back the world’s fascination of zoölogy. In fact, as Dr. Jane Goodall, My biggest inspiration, said: “My mission is to create a world where we can live in harmony with nature.” Similarly, Anthony Douglas Williams said that: “It’s not whether animals will survive, it’s whether man has the will to save them.” These people and more are the reasons why I strive every single day to learn more and more about the animals of this world, and how we can save them. I have created multiple petitions, as well as organizations (Such as the Opossum Protection Program of South Florida) that serve to fulfill my huge dreams. I do not stand by the animals, for I stand with them; and, with an education, I want to protect and love
( Before I decide to dive in on my blog post sharing my experiences with animals or anything else. There is a very important post I need to put out. This post covers probably the biggest aspect of my life, Autism ).

1. What are some of the personal dynamics in your life that influence and/or impact your leadership style and/or effectiveness?
Now the next video I watched was the YouTube video Look up from you phone. In it the speaker talks about how you can have so many friends on Facebook and still be lonely, as well as if you stare at your phone all your life you will miss out on amazing opportunities and relationships. This video really struck me in how I see the world around me, everywhere you look people are just staring down and not paying attention on where they are going and what they are doing myself included. I hope to be able to change my view around me and start interacting with those people and try to change things for the better.
One must put themselves in the shoes of the parent from a third world country whose young son lost his leg from a catastrophic earthquake. Once one has completed imagining they are a parent or family member, they must then picture a photo of their son lying in his hospital bed spreading across the world on social media being filled with "likes" and comments. How might that make one feel? In June 2013, Publicis Singapore, a nonprofit crisis relief group created this campaign called "Liking Isn 't Helping" to show others across the world that "liking" a post on social media does not actually help them. In their campaign “Liking Isn’t Helping”, they portray children who’s had to face the consequences from wars, earthquakes, and floods.
